Heavily inspired by Serge Gainsbourg, Dent May was a former NYU film student. Now living in Oxford, Mississippi, he decided to work on music and art. He owns a 5000 square foot barn called Cats Purring that is being used to develop an artist community. His previous album he was known as Dent May and his Magnificent Ukulele. Not as much Uke in this album, but a winner nonetheless. A lot more beatbox and electronic influence pepper this album, but I bet the Uke isn't far away. If you don't know me by now, I am a sucker for late 60's inspired pop.
