This is my sad, slow album pick for the year. While I am not particularly fond of text slang in album or song titles, the music and lyrics on this album are amazing. Perfume Genius is none other than Mike Hadreas. A Seattle based musician, this is his second album. Deep, haunting, soulful lyrics. Quiet, reserved, beautiful. The song below is incredibly sad and features his mom in the video, whom he lives with in Seattle.
