Allyson Baker is the brainchild of Dirty Ghosts. Dirty rock and roll with a metal/80's new wave, neo punk influence. The electronic mixed with the heavy guitars and drums what I really like about this album. The three piece is out of San Francisco and produced by Aesop Rock, which certainly adds their hip-hop influence in parts as well. They started this project five years ago, so after much touring, this album is much overdue.
