Emily Haines, formerly of Broken Social Scene is the frontwoman of Metric. This Canadian troupe can do no wrong in my eyes. Guitarist James Shaw (who also plays the synthesizer and theremin), bassist Joshua Winstead and drummer Joules Scott-Key round out the roster. These guys played at Brady Theatre last night, and I sadly missed their show. New wave electronica, these guys have been putting out incredible music since 1998.
