27. The Lumineers - The Lumineers
I always seem to have a band that has some sort of meteoric rise on my list every year. This would be it. The Lumineers have been nominated for two Grammy's. The Lumineers are Wesley Keith Schultz (vocals, guitar), Jeremiah Caleb Fraites (drums, percussion, mandolin, vocals), Neyla Pekarek (cello, mandolin, piano, vocals) and reside in Denver, Colorado. Infectious folk-pop is the result of this collaboration. The group was born out of sadness after Jermeiah's brother committed suicide.
