18. Punch Brothers - Movement and Location
Punch Brothers are soooo amazing! Chris Thile is one of my personal heroes and Noam Pikelny is amazing as well. In fact, every member of this band is so incredibly talented. Chris Thile is formerly of Nickel Creek. Every cover I have ever seen these guys do has been transformed into something else. The Kid A cover on this album is pure genius. It sounds as good, if not better than the original and they transposed it to the acoustic instruments they had at hand. This is music at its finest hour. Bluegrass, or Newgrass, if you will, has never had a better take, and if you haven't already, give these guys a chance. You won't be disappointed.
