14. Andrew Bird - Break It Yourself
I am an Andrew Bird fan through and through. It's hard for me to imagine this master whistler and fiddler doing anything wrong. The man has been prolific this year to say the least. This was the first of two album releases this year. Considering his last album was 23 songs, he probably was advised to do this rather than release another unruly album. In relation, this album is far more cohesive and with songs like 'Give It Away' and 'Near Death Experience' they make life a little less grim. Annie Clark of St. Vincent joins in a duet on 'Lusitania' He also just released Hands of Glory later this year. Check out the video below to see him perform and get interviewed. Absolutely wonderful. Also check out below the song 'The Crown Salesman', which was supposed to be released on this album, but didn't make it.
