18. Spoon - Transference

I'm pretty sure I've talked about this before, but I have mixed feelings about a band I've been following for years hitting it big on a major label. However, isn't that why we like these bands. If they didn't make it, then they might go away, and we certainly don't want that. If you don't already know, Spoon is a indie rock band led by Britt Daniels out of Austin, TX. I like this album better than their last one, but they have all been fantastic. There is nothing like throwing on some funk-laden rock before going out for the night or driving in your car.
