16. Belle and Sebastian - Write About Love
Belle and Sebastian is one of my all time favorite bands. This was a no brainer and if I had gotten it earlier in the year, it would have been higher in the charts. However, getting to see this band live completed one of my top five must see live bands of all time. Definitely the best live show I've seen to date, but mainly because I am such a fan and the experience was so rare. Led by Stuart Murdoch out of Glasgow, Scotland, this is their eighth album and they derived their name from a children's book. Vanguards of the genre known as twee, they have highly orchestrated pop along with really complex lyrics and lyrical subjects.
