Palma Violets was birthed out of Lambeth, London in Studio 180 by bassist/vocalist Alexander "Chilli" Jesson, guitarist/vocalist Samuel Thomas Fryer, keyboardist Jeffrey Peter Mayhew and drummer William Martin Doyle. Before they even had anything recorded they had developed quite a following simply by playing show after show after show. With this, their debut, this band shows a lot of energy and promise. Truly a pleasure to listen to and their DIY ethic only makes me want to listen to this album more.
