13. Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppie - Rome
This is definitely one of my favorite albums of the year. I have spoke before about how Danger Mouse can do no wrong, here, here, and here. Danger Mouse is, well, Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppie is a film composer. Jack White and Norah Jones are guest vocalists on the incredible tracks on this album. Ennio Morricone scores and pairs all these folks up in a five year long musical project. There are also several folks from the 60's and 70's film scores that also make an appearance giving the album a veritable timeless quality.
