This sixteenth album of Ryan Adams is a breakup album. He recently divorced his wife of six years, Mandy Moore. His previous album was a complete cover of Taylor Swifts' 1989. I find that this album carries some serious late eighties, early nineties guitar work, in true Adams fashion and is a perfect expression of his new pop excursion.
